All the front panels are complete.
The cotton batting arrived today and the dyed fabric pieces have dried out beautifully. I've been still considering what way to improv piece the backing of each panel and have a pattern format that I like.
After some consideration I decided to have a dual sided quilt and having been inspired by Rachel's 'Sparklers Quilt'
Stitched in Colour - Sparklers QuiltUsing the fabrics I dyed on Sunday and hunting out more hand dyed fabric.
I've also been working of the Guild challenge piece, a wet felted panel - here's how it looks at the moment
I need to continue over stitching (or quilting) it to make the water ripples, sand and seaweed stand out.
Then there is also some WIP spinning - the fibre I won from Jo (Limegreenjelly) during the Tour de Fleece
and some hand dyed Wensleydale in lovely autumnal shades.
